Bay View Park is one of the lesser visited parks in Coronado. It is a small park and has a very tranquil feel to it. Even when there are a fair amount of people in the park everyone seems to respect the energy of the space and you generally only hear mild whispers. In a way the behavior could be compared to an outdoor library setting.

There are many memorial / dedicated benches to sit on at the park. There is actually a good amount of shaded area. It is nice to be able to move in and out of the sunlight.

You can get a glimpse of some of the Navy ships to the left of the park.

The park looks straight on the San Diego Skyline.

Off to the right you can see the Coronado Bridge.
